Privacy Policy

Short version: Flovo stores only your email address and a daily usage counter. Your email content is sent to OpenAI to generate replies and is never stored by Flovo. You can delete your account at any time.

1. Who we are

Flovo ("we", "us", "our") is a Chrome extension that generates AI-assisted email replies. The extension is operated by an individual developer. You can reach us at support@flovomail.online.

2. What data we collect

3. How we use your data

To authenticate you and keep your session active.
To enforce the daily generation limit and protect against abuse.
To send you a one-time password by email when you sign in.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

Flovo uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Supabase — authentication, database, and serverless functions. Privacy Policy
OpenAI — AI text generation. Your template text is sent to OpenAI to produce the reply. Privacy Policy
Resend — transactional email delivery (OTP sign-in codes). Privacy Policy

5. Data retention

Account data (email): retained until you delete your account.
Usage counters: each row stores only the date and a count. Rows older than 30 days are not actively used and may be purged periodically.
Device ID: stored in your browser's local extension storage. Removing or reinstalling the extension deletes it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the extension.

To exercise these rights, email us at support@flovomail.online and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies and local storage

Flovo does not use browser cookies. It uses chrome.storage.local (local extension storage) to persist your preferences (theme, language, selected template) and the anonymous device ID. This data never leaves your device except for the device's daily counter as described in Section 2.

8. Children's privacy

Flovo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
